Mentorship is an invaluable method of boosting personal and professional growth for both mentors and mentees. As such, DILP acknowledges the importance in beneficial and appropriate mentor-mentee pairings and endeavours to find the best match possible for each mentor and mentee.

The program will offer three categories/preferences for mentorship pairing:

  • Career Prospects and Industry of Work

    • Many mentees come into the mentoring program seeking career or industry related advice. eg. A law student and lawyer

  • Life Skills and Aspirations

    • Some mentees have a specific life skill they want to tackle, or an aspiration they're working towards. eg. A mentee transitioning into the workforce and a more experienced mentor

  • Community/Shared Interests

    • Some mentees have a particular interest they'd like guidance on.

eg. A mentee with an interest in community service and a community leader
